At Zodiac School of Dance, we believe dance should be fun, accessible, and inspiring for everyone. Based in the heart of Lochgelly, we are proud to provide high-quality and affordable dance training to children, young people, and adults across Fife.

Our diverse timetable offers something for every age and ability – from Streetdance, Commercial, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Ballet and Acrobatics, to Singing and Musical Theatre. We also run a joyful toddler class for under-3s who are up on their feet, alongside a popular adult dance class and 1:1 private tuition for those seeking extra support or specialised coaching.

Founded in 2000, Zodiac has been a cornerstone of the community for over 25 years. In that time, our dancers have not only performed on stages across the UK and around the world, but have also achieved prestigious competition titles nationally. More importantly, we’ve nurtured generations of young dancers, building their confidence, creativity, and love for performing along the way.

In 2017, Zodiac School of Dance was honoured with Lochgelly’s Citizen of the Year Award, where our founder and owner, Stacey Gunn, had the privilege of meeting the Queen. In 2025 we won the Competitive Dance School award at the Scottish Dance Awards.

But for us, it’s never just about awards or titles – at our core, we are a fun, friendly, and inclusive dance family. Every student is valued as an individual, and our studio is a safe space where children, teenagers, and young adults can express themselves freely. Under the guidance of Stacey – a professionally qualified teacher and choreographer with over 25 years’ experience – our students benefit from expert tuition, encouragement, and a strong positive role model. Our dedicated teaching team are fully insured, hold Disclosure Certificates, and bring with them a wealth of professional experience and specialist qualifications.

We are also passionate about developing the next generation of teachers. Young people with an interest in teaching are given supervised opportunities to lead, choreograph, and perform, helping them gain valuable skills, confidence, and experience.
